Family Only is the 16-track, album from Bru-C, encapsulating all the highs and lows that he has experienced in the last few years, taking the listener on a journey that soundtracks pre-drinks, the night out, the comedown and the introspection that follows. A brilliant balance of energy and vulnerability, with raw lyricism – a look into Bru-C\’s humanity. With discussions around mental health, suicide, drug abuse, hope and faith, coupled with Bru-Cs infectious party sonic, Family Only represents the Great and the grim of Britain. The album sees an exciting cast list, with features including Songer, A Little Sound, Maverick Sabre and Wretch 32, with production credits including Bou, Chase & Status, Rudimental, Toddla T and completely co-produced by Bru\’s DJ: Shapes.
