Infernal Overkill, the much loved debut album by German Thrash Metal legend Destruction was first released in 1985. Compared to what they did on Sentence of Death, with Infernal Overkill Destruction had refined their style, trading most of the Heavy Metal influences for even more speed, heaviness and ferocity. “Infernal Overkill” is a classic example of an old school Thrash masterpiece. First time listeners, prepare to be possessed by an “invincible force,” as this album will leave you banging your heads non-stop for almost 40 minutes.
