Description

A concept album of experimental interpretations and original compositions inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Written and recorded between 2019-2023, this album utilises tape machines, pedal steel guitar, modular synthesisers, field recordings, piano, double bass and various DIY circuits/devices in an attempt to approach the idea of the video game cover album in a more organic and interpretative way. By mixing acoustic and ensemble elements with processed electronic and synthesised sounds, the intention is to reflect the feelings of desolation, space and loss often evoked by this most revered and influential game.

Double LP on frosted clear/green vinyl.

Lacquer cut by Lupo and pressed at Pallas, Germany.

Plays at 45RPM.

Recorded and mixed by Imprints, 2019-2023.

Mastered by Shawn Hatfield and Shaun Crook.
